‘Fielding Coach Ne Already Email…’: Suryakumar Yadav’s Hilarious Response On Team India’s Lapses In IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 Clash Draws Laughter During Presser; Video

Team India skipper Suryakumar Yadav cheekily revealed that their fielding coach has already sent an email to the players regarding their sloppiness in the field during the Super 4 clash against Pakistan on Sunday in Dubai. Despite the dropped catches, Yadav emphasized that such mistakes are part of the game, especially early in the tournament.

India dropped at least four catches in the match, with two missed chances coming off Abhishek Sharma’s gloves against Sahibzada Farhan. Kuldeep Yadav and Shubman Gill also dropped one catch each. However, these lapses did not affect the outcome as Team India comfortably chased down a target of 171 with four wickets to spare.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Yadav addressed the dropped catches, saying:

“I think the fielding coach has already put an email to the boys to come to the office tomorrow and the day after, for those who had a bit of butter on their fingers. But these things keep happening. It’s completely part of the game. I’m okay with it because it’s good that it happened in the first game. We have crucial games ahead, so it’s part of the game.”

**Abhishek Sharma Crowned Player of the Match**

Abhishek Sharma was awarded the Player of the Match for his explosive knock of 74 runs off just 39 balls. The left-hander started his innings aggressively, welcoming Shaheen Shah Afridi with a six. He went on to build a solid 105-run opening partnership with Shubman Gill, putting India firmly in control of the game.

With Pakistan’s loss, their upcoming match against Sri Lanka is expected to be a do-or-die contest for the Men in Green.
