**Jabalpur High Court Directs Sealed Status Report on Indore Truck Tragedy**

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): The High Court’s principal bench has directed the court registry to keep the status report related to the tragic incident in Indore in a sealed cover. The report concerns the death of three persons and injury to 35 others caused by a rashly driven truck in a residential area from Kalani Nagar Square to Bada Ganpati Square on September 15.

Additionally, the court has ordered the transfer of the suo motu petition to the Indore bench for further hearing, scheduled for October 10.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva and Justice Vinay Saraf took on record the status report filed by the state government regarding the incident. The Commissioner of Police, Indore, appeared before the court via video conferencing, as informed by Deputy Advocate General Swapnil Ganguly.

The court’s registry has been instructed to keep the status report sealed and to produce it on every date of hearing until further orders are issued.

On September 16, the High Court initiated suo motu proceedings based on newspaper reports of the incident and registered a petition to investigate the matter further.
