WhatsApp has rolled out a new update for its Android app, version 2.25.27, introducing a feature that simplifies the process of starting chats and broadcasts for users. Currently available to select beta testers, this update is expected to reach more users in the coming weeks.
### Revamped Interface for Starting Conversations
The latest update brings a redesigned interface for initiating conversations. Instead of a static layout, the interface now adapts based on how many contacts a user selects. When only one contact is chosen, a floating action button appears, providing direct access to message that person instantly. This change makes starting chats more intuitive and efficient.
### Enhanced Functionality: Create Broadcast Lists and Groups
Beyond one-on-one chats, the update allows users to create broadcast lists from multiple selected contacts, enabling them to send a single message to all recipients simultaneously. This feature saves both time and effort when reaching out to many contacts at once.
Additionally, users can create new groups directly from the same selection screen. WhatsApp even checks if a group with the exact combination of participants already exists, preventing duplicate groups and streamlining group communication.
With these improvements, WhatsApp continues to enhance user experience by making messaging quicker and more convenient. Stay tuned as the update rolls out to a broader audience soon.
