MP News: CM Mohan Yadav Announces College In Pathari During Vidisha Visit; Development Works Worth Rs 258 Crore Launched

**Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Announces Development Initiatives in Vidisha District**

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced the opening of a new college in Pathari as part of the state’s educational expansion plans. Addressing a programme organised in Kurwai, Vidisha district, on Saturday, he also revealed plans to develop an industrial area to support products from the Bina refinery.

In addition, CM Yadav announced the allocation of Rs 2 crore for development works of the Kurwai city council. This funding will facilitate the construction of new hostels, each with a 50-bed capacity, in Kurwai, Lateri, and Nateran.

Further enhancing healthcare and education infrastructure, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of Sandipani School and a Critical Care Hospital in Lateri and Gyaraspur, respectively.

During the programme, CM Yadav launched development works worth Rs 258 crore for Kurwai and Vidisha. He laid the foundation stone for 46 projects valued at Rs 92.70 crore and dedicated 34 completed projects amounting to Rs 165 crore. Additionally, he reviewed the Ken Betwa Link Project model and participated in a roadshow to engage with the public.

**Efforts to Publicise MP’s Flora & Fauna**

Earlier, while chairing the 30th State Wildlife Board meeting at the Mantralaya on Friday, CM Mohan Yadav directed forest officers to acquire wild animals from Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha in exchange for giving tigers from Madhya Pradesh. This initiative aims to increase the diversity of wild animals in the state.

Notably, Madhya Pradesh will be transferring one male tiger and nine tigresses to these three states as part of this exchange programme, promoting wildlife conservation and ecological balance across regions.
