The dice game against Lumble takes place in the Blasted Steps and is all about timing the button release. Here’s how it works:
You press and hold the play button, then release it to toss the dice. If you release the button at the correct moment, Hornet will throw the dice, they’ll glow brightly, and you will win the round.
### Tips to Guarantee a Win
According to SerfaSam on Cortex, to guarantee a win in the dice game, try releasing the button after roughly four seconds.
Alternatively, you can count Hornet’s arm movements to get the timing just right. When you hold the play button, Hornet begins flicking her hand back and forth, shaking the dice. Each flick toward herself counts as one.
Count 14 of these flicks and release the button exactly on the 14th flick. If done correctly, Hornet will grunt and the dice will glow bright blue—signaling a win.
Keep winning rounds, and eventually, you will be rewarded with the Magnetic Dice!
