APSC Grade IV Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 20 Vacancies

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced the commencement of the online application process for Grade IV vacancies. Interested candidates can submit their applications until October 9, 2025, through the official APSC website at apsc.nic.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 20 openings.

Eligibility Criteria for APSC Grade IV Recruitment 2025

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years as of January 1, 2025.
  • Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification required is Class VIII pass, with a maximum qualification of HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent. Candidates possessing qualifications higher than Class 12 are not eligible to apply.

Application Fees

The application fee for the recruitment is Nil for all categories, including General, OBC/IVOBC, SC, ST, BPL, and PwBD candidates.

However, a processing fee of Rs. 47.20 will be charged by CSC-SPV for every applicant. Hence, the total payable amount per candidate is Rs. 47.20.

How to Apply for APSC Grade IV Recruitment 2025?

Candidates can follow the steps below to apply:

  1. Visit the official APSC website at apsc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the Group IV posts 2025 registration link available on the homepage.
  3. Register by providing the required details to create an account.
  4. Fill out the application form carefully, upload necessary documents, and pay the processing fee.
  5. Submit the completed application form.
  6. Download and print a copy of the application form for future reference.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in two phases:

Phase I: Screening Test

The Commission will conduct an OMR-based multiple-choice screening test to shortlist candidates. The test will be of 2 hours duration and carry 100 marks. The question paper will cover the following subjects:

  • Arithmetic (20 marks, Class VI–VIII standard)
  • General Knowledge specific to Assam (20 marks)
  • Reasoning (20 marks)
  • Social Science (20 marks)
  • Science (10 marks)
  • Elementary English (10 marks)

Phase II: Interview

Candidates who qualify Phase I will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio according to category-wise reservation and called for the interview round.
