Spooky season continues, and so do the scares here on Variety Hours @ Shacknews! Today’s livestream sees me slinking back into the creepy halls of *Caput Mortum* and then, if there’s time, moving on to *No, I’m not a Human*. Come and keep me safe from the scares!
Today’s episode of Variety Hours @ Shacknews is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET on October 17, 2025, over on the Shacknews Twitch channel. This special double feature will run for about two hours, with the goal of finishing *Caput Mortum* and then diving into *No, I’m not a Human*. Two spooky games in one stream!
On our last episode of VHS, I ventured pretty far into *Caput Mortum*. This game is incredibly unique in that you use the triggers on a controller to turn your camera, and the bumpers to aim up and down. Movement is still tied to the left thumbstick, but this aiming setup really makes you feel vulnerable.
Based on the pacing and the big reveal we saw, I’d say we’re pretty close to the end. If we do finish the game today, we’ll all shift over to the next game: *No, I’m not a Human*.
The only thing I know about this one comes from Lucas White’s preview. I instantly added it to my wishlist for a rainy day—and here we are. Hope to see you there!
