Google (GOOGL) parent company Alphabet has released its Q3 2025 quarterly earnings report, showcasing growth across multiple sectors—including YouTube.
YouTube has once again surpassed $10 billion in ad revenue, bringing in $10.261 billion for the most recent quarter. This marks a significant increase from $9.8 billion in the previous quarter and $8.9 billion at the same time in 2024.
“Alphabet had a terrific quarter, with double-digit growth across every major part of our business,” said Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai in the Q3 2025 earnings report.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, YouTube’s rising ad revenue can be largely attributed to its continued dominance in sharing TV revenue in the U.S., outperforming other streaming services such as Disney and Netflix. YouTube has consistently led this category for several months, with its lead over competitors continuing to grow.
Notably, this is the second time in 2025 that YouTube has exceeded $10 billion in ad revenue, having previously recorded $10.473 billion in Q4 2024.
