Missions are one of the easiest and best ways to gear up in the early parts of a match in Battlefield 6: REDSEC. Completing them awards valuable supplies, weapons, and upgrade materials without the need to scavenge the map for loot crates.

High amounts of Training Path XP are also valuable, as they help you and your squad unlock additional class bonuses faster.
Once you’ve settled on a weapon loadout, shift focus toward missions offering additional supplies such as armor plates and upgrade kits. Mission drops are some of the best and most consistent ways to obtain high-rarity upgrades, and carrying as many armor plates as possible is crucial as the safe zone shrinks.
Typically, you’ll only have time to complete about three missions before they become unavailable in the later portions of the match—possibly fewer if you engage in prolonged fights.

How Long Can You Do Missions in REDSEC?
Missions in REDSEC become unavailable after approximately 10-15 minutes into the match or when 40 or fewer players remain alive. The 35-40 player threshold is the most consistent marker for mission availability, with time playing a secondary role.
Most matches will hit this 40-player mark within 15 minutes, making it a useful rule of thumb. Unless you drop into a highly contested zone, you should have time for at least one or two missions before the late-match period begins.
Keep in mind that some missions, like Decrypt Beacons, act as clarion calls for PvP. You can use these missions strategically to lure enemy squads into engaging you to contest valuable rewards. However, this carries the obvious risk of losing the fight, so proceed with caution.
