Dead by Daylight has introduced an exciting twist to its gameplay with the relatively new 2v8 mode, which pits two killers against eight survivors. This mode is set to become even more thrilling with the addition of new characters to the roster.
From now until November 20, 2025, players can enjoy controlling Pyramid Head from Silent Hill and Dracula from Castlevania in the 2v8 mode. Behaviour Interactive recently released a trailer detailing the inclusion of these iconic characters in the temporary event, which will run until late November before the mode goes offline again.
Both Pyramid Head and Dracula have long been a part of Dead by Daylight’s regular lineup as DLC characters. Pyramid Head was introduced in 2020 during the Silent Hill collaboration, which also brought Heather Mason to the survivors’ side. Dracula joined the game alongside Trevor Belmont during the Castlevania collaboration.
In terms of gameplay style, Pyramid Head offers a control-based approach. He can trap paths with barbed wire and teleport caught survivors to coffin cages scattered across the map. Dracula, on the other hand, plays a more aggressive role, utilizing his various forms and magical abilities to relentlessly chase and hunt survivors.
This addition injects fresh energy into the 2v8 mode, providing fans with new strategies and intense action. Make sure to jump into Dead by Daylight before the event ends to experience these legendary killers in action!
