351-Powered 1969 Ford Bronco 5-Speed

This 1969 Ford Bronco originally left the factory as a half-cab pickup. Since the current owner acquired the vehicle in 2006, significant modifications and upgrades have been made, including the installation of a 351ci V8 engine paired with an NV3500 five-speed manual transmission.

The powertrain features an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor, complemented by a Pertronix ignition coil and finned valve covers. Exhaust gases are routed through ceramic-coated headers into a 2-inch dual exhaust system equipped with Flowmaster mufflers. The drivetrain is supported by a Dana 30 front axle, Mile Marker front locking hubs, and a Dana 20 dual-range transfer case. Fluid servicing for the rear differential was recently completed in preparation for sale.

The Bronco’s bodywork has been modified and refinished in tan under previous ownership, accented by a removable white powder-coated hardtop and color-coordinated white bumpers. In 2023, repairs and paintwork were performed on the fenders, quarter panels, rocker panels, and tailgate, while replacement parts include a new grille and front cowl. Attention was also given to the headlights, turn signals, and windshield wipers to ensure full functionality.

The truck rides on a lifted suspension system featuring double front shocks, extended A-arms, and a Saginaw power steering setup with a chromoly steering rod. Rear leaf springs and bushings were replaced in 2025 to maintain ride quality. It rolls on 15″ Ultra Motorsports 062 wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country A/T tires.

Braking duties are managed by front disc brakes and rear drums, with the brake fluid recently changed. Additional exterior equipment includes a swing-away rear spare tire carrier, a Warn winch, and a receiver hitch integrated into the rear bumper for towing and recovery purposes.

Inside the cabin, body-color metal surfaces and a powder-coated dash panel create a durable and cohesive environment. Seating comprises a pair of black-trimmed front bucket seats equipped with Corbeau harnesses and a fold-and-tumble rear bench. The interior is further enhanced with black door panels, a locking center storage console, and a Kenwood stereo system for entertainment. Tools are mounted to the back of the black roll cage, which offers occupant protection—though some corrosion on the cage mounts has been noted. The steering wheel is leather-wrapped with perforated inserts, mounted on a stainless-steel column for durability.

Instrumentation includes a replacement 100-mph speedometer surrounded by auxiliary gauges, with the five-digit odometer displaying approximately 5,000 miles—believed to reflect the distance covered since the engine swap. A horn was also installed in preparation for sale.

Noted cosmetic flaws include chips in the windshield, scratches on the hood, misaligned doors, gaps in the window seals, and cracks along with rust where the hardtop meets the body.

This well-maintained and thoughtfully upgraded 1969 Ford Bronco is currently offered on dealer consignment, accompanied by service records and a clean Oregon title. It presents an excellent blend of classic style and modern mechanical enhancements, ready for its next adventure.
