Latest ICC team rankings: Updated men’s ODI table after Pakistan win 2-1 against South Africa

After drawing the Test series 1-1 and winning the T20Is 2-1, Pakistan capped off a successful all-format tour by clinching the ODI series 2-1 against South Africa.

The ODI series started with a thrilling first match where Pakistan chased down 264, winning by two wickets with just two balls remaining. In the second ODI, momentum shifted as a superb century from the returning Quinton de Kock helped South Africa hunt down 270, securing victory by eight wickets.

The series decider turned out to be a one-sided affair in favor of the visitors. Despite an opening stand of 72, South Africa collapsed to 143 all out as Pakistan’s spinners weaved their magic. Pakistan then made light work of the small chase, winning by seven wickets to seal the series.
