“I’m taking Texas A&M,” Mahomes said with a grin. “Marcel Reed, that defense getting after it. Sorry to all my Chiefs Kingdom, a lot of Mizzou fans there, but I’m going with the Aggies.”
Mahomes and his wife were later seen cheering from the stands, celebrating a Texas Tech touchdown with fans. The appearance came just days after the quarterback admitted he needed to “be better” following the Chiefs’ loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Meanwhile, Brittany Mahomes used the break to make moves of her own. The Kansas City Current co-owner and former soccer player was named to the National Women’s Soccer League’s inaugural advisory board. This 20-member board includes icons like Alex Morgan, Magic Johnson, Ken Griffey Jr., and Eli Manning, and will advise the league on marketing, fan engagement, and player initiatives beginning in 2026.
Separately, the couple’s philanthropic foundation received recognition from Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE). The organization posted a message of gratitude on social media, which Brittany shared on her Instagram stories, writing:

On November 5, the newly engaged couple was spotted hand-in-hand at The Polo Bar, one of Manhattan’s most exclusive celebrity dining spots. Swift stunned in a long-sleeve bateau-neck top from Alaïa, gray wide-leg Stella McCartney trousers, a matching crossbody bag, and Jimmy Choo x Jean Paul Gaultier heels. She accessorized with an opal-and-diamond ring—a likely nod to Kelce’s October birthday—along with Audry Rose jewelry.
Kelce kept things coordinated in a black sweater, khaki wool pants, black sneakers, and layered Louis Vuitton chains.
The following evening, on November 6, the couple dined at the members-only club Zero Bond. “The Bachelorette” alum Jason Tartick happened to be seated nearby and later recounted the encounter on Instagram, calling it “unbelievable.”
“Her and Travis were (expletive) adorable,” Tartick said in his video. “There was something so humble and real and down to earth about her. But also something that was just such a light.”
He noted that the couple’s privacy was fully respected.
“It was about 85 to 100 people. No pictures, no one went up to that table,” he said. “After two hours of just taking it all in, her glow in that room you just can’t stop looking at her.”
Tartick added that Swift’s engagement ring was “absolutely blingin’” and that her chemistry with Kelce was unmistakable.
