WACO, Texas (AP) — Utah true freshman quarterback Byrd Ficklin made a remarkable impact with touchdown runs of 67 and 74 yards as the 15th-ranked Utes secured a commanding 55-28 victory over Baylor on Saturday night.
Elijah Davis also contributed significantly by returning an interception 65 yards for a touchdown. Additionally, Wayshawn Parker added a 64-yard touchdown run, helping Utah improve to 8-2 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
This win marks the Utes’ third consecutive victory, showcasing their strong performance throughout the season.
