Getting your Trinity Audio player ready. The Wednesday Lady’s Bible study from Rock Springs Church in Milner Georgia visited the childhood home of Rosalynn Carter on Nov 19. Courtney Wall teaches the group. Lillian Allethea Smith Wall, Rosalynn Carter’s sister, attends the Bible study. The group toured the house and listened to singer-songwriter Andrew Greer sing for them. It was their second time coming to Plains, but the first time they were able to visit the house. The house is filled with family photos and heirlooms from Rosalynn’s childhood, from a preacher’s cot to a BB hole in the wall. The house is now a Vacation Rentals by Owner, or Vrbo, where guests can stay and experience a part of Rosalynn Carter’s childhood. The house is located at 219 Rosalynn Carter Trail next to the Rosalynn Smith Carter Childhood Garden.
