The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Friday, November 21, reveals that bride Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will have an allergic reaction to a mystery flower delivery on her big day. In a suite at the GCAC, Laura Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will help Christine get ready for the marriage ceremony. Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will also show up for a sweet reunion with Christine before she ties the knot. Christine will get some gifts to celebrate the tradition of having something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. However, there’ll be a bit of a pre-wedding emergency when a mysterious flower delivery arrives without a card. It turns out Christine is allergic to the mums that’ll be in the arrangement, so she’ll start sneezing like crazy and itching all over. Christine will immediately blame Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and assume she somehow found out about her allergy. However, Lauren will have some lotion and antihistamine sent up after the flowers are discarded. Nina will also work to calm Christine down and get her into the shower, so the crisis will be averted in the end. Later, a mum-free flower arrangement will arrive with a card from Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), so Christine will be touched over him wishing her happiness. Downstairs, Phyllis will saunter in and stir the pot with Danny a bit, who’ll push for just one snark-free day. Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will eventually send Phyllis away and try to stay on guard for Danny’s sake. Lauren will eventually confront Phyllis over the flower delivery that caused Christine’s allergic reaction. Phyllis will deny being responsible, but she’ll seem pleased over Christine’s wedding day setback. Gina Roma (Patty Weaver) will return on Friday’s Y&R episode, so Danny will reunite with his sister ahead of the ceremony. Daniel will also greet Gina and introduce her to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) as everyone gears up for the nuptials. Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will be home with the flu, and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will send sick Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) regrets as well once she arrives. Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) will bring Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as her plus one and enjoy a reunion with Gina before Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) pops up nearby. Cane will congratulate Danny and try to escape the awkward situation, but Amy and Nina will insist on confronting him over the deaths of their sons in Nice. Nina and Amy will still have a lot of anger over the circus that Cane’s ego set in motion. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) shouldn’t have been caught up in all that, so Cane will apologize and promise he’ll never forget. Phyllis will eventually hustle Cane off to Crimson Lights, where she’ll quiz him about how he feels following Amy and Nina’s joint outburst. Cane will think he deserved worse and will end up grilling Phyllis about why she hates Christine so much. Phyllis will deny that she’s pining for Danny and will end up flirting with Cane as they sit at a table together. Back at the GCAC, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) will chat with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) briefly and let him know she’s glad he’s patching things up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Michael will serve as the officiant for the ceremony while Daniel walks Christine down the aisle to Danny. Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will tell Diane she’s pleased since the mums she sent match Christine’s bouquet, so Nina will overhear and realize Esther was the mystery flower sender, not Phyllis. After Christine and Danny say some loving vows to each other, Michael will marry them before they kiss to seal the deal. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Danny and Christine’s reception will bring some drama as well, so stay tuned for updates on any shocking news that’s still to come.
