How to Access the Dark Refractory After The Old Peace in Warframe

The Old Peace has arrived, and if you have already completed the story quest, you might be wondering what to do next. Your next destination should be the Dark Refractory. However, some players have noticed that it is not appearing in their Navigation console. We’ve identified the reason behind this issue and how to resolve it.

Accessing the Dark Refractory

To access the Dark Refractory and the two modes it contains—Descendia and The Perita Rebellion—you must first complete The Old Peace quest. If you haven’t completed this quest yet, you can also opt to skip it using the new Mission Preview feature. Mission Preview allows newer Warframe players to jump directly into these later game modes and play alongside their friends.

Important Note for Players Who Have Completed The Old Peace

If you have completed The Old Peace but the Dark Refractory option does not appear in your Navigation console, here is what you need to do:

  • Go to your Inbox from the Communications menu.
  • Replay the message from The Lotus associated with The Old Peace.
  • Make sure to listen to the entire message until the end. Do not cancel out of the message early, as this prevents the quest from fully completing.

Details on the Mission Preview Feature

  • Players must have completed The Teacher quest before they can use Mission Preview.
  • Players using Mission Preview who are below Mastery Rank 10 cannot publicly matchmake into Dark Refractory missions.
  • Mission Preview players do not have access to the following:
    • The Devil’s Triad vendors
    • New Protoframe KIM chats
    • Any other quest-locked content outside of the two new game modes
  • Exception: Focus School access is available in The Perita Rebellion, to prevent potential issues arising from Mission Preview players not having Operators.

By following these steps, you should be able to access the Dark Refractory and enjoy the new content that comes with it. Happy hunting!
