The transfer portal has officially opened for the college football world. Over the next two weeks, rosters across the country will shift significantly in preparation for the upcoming season. After a tough two-win season and a coaching change, Oregon State’s roster is expected to look very different in 2026.
The big question is: what should the Beavers actually salvage from their 2025 roster? More importantly, do they have what it takes to retain the players necessary to make an impact next year?
This week on *State of the Beavs*, your host Matt Bagley dives into who could be the difference makers on next year’s roster—if they choose to give Corvallis another shot.
Meanwhile, on the hardwood, the Oregon State men’s basketball team is looking for a spark after a challenging start to their West Coast Conference schedule. The women, however, seem to be finding their footing early this season.
Happy New Year! And apologies for the delay in this week’s production schedule (it’s Joe’s fault). Go Beavs!
