Happy New Year, everyone! With the start of 2026 comes another exciting edition of Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ). This year’s event is already nearly halfway through, but there’s still plenty more action to come. The world’s top speedrunners are showcasing some of the biggest and most beloved games, both classic and modern, all for a good cause.
As always, AGDQ is streaming live for charity in front of a worldwide audience on Twitch. For the first time, viewers can also catch all the excitement on YouTube. This year, Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 has returned to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with all the runners performing from the Wyndham Grand in front of a lively in-person crowd.
The event is raising funds for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, and after three days, the speedrunners have already raised over $530,000! Shacknews will be tracking the event throughout the week, bringing you the daily schedules along with highlights of the most thrilling runs you won’t want to miss.
