Tonight on The Stevetendo Show, we’re diving back into Hyrule with more of our Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom playthrough. If you have a Nintendo Switch 2 and previously played the game on the original Switch, do yourself a favor and grab the update pack. The game runs smoothly on the Nintendo Switch 2, offering an enhanced experience.
In our last Tears of the Kingdom episode, we traveled around Hyrule, taking care of several shrines along the way. We also received a briefing on our next plan of attack from Purah. She repaired the watchtower at Lookout Landing, enabling fast travel to and from the stronghold whenever needed.
Our next move is to head to one of the populated locations to gather more information about what’s happening in Hyrule. Many players usually start with the Zora or the Rito tribes. Since we have armor that offers some cold resistance, I prefer heading up into the Hebra Mountains. Along the way, we can stop by the Lucky Clover Gazette, where plenty of side quests are available for players.
Will we be able to help the Rito tribe? Find out tonight! The Stevetendo Show goes live at 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT. Shackers who want to join the fun can tune in on the Shacknews Twitch channel every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If you can’t make tonight’s live show, catch the replay on Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. PDT / 8 p.m. EDT.
Coming up next on the show, we’ll continue our Pokemon Legends Z-A playthrough. The schedule may shift a bit next week, as I’m considering replacing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with a dedicated Animal Crossing night. This change is prompted by the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, arriving this week.
The action is heating up, and you won’t want to miss it!

If you haven’t heard, Shacknews now offers a new service called Shackmaps. The talented Shacknews staff has explored some of your favorite video games to help you avoid getting lost during gameplay.
In addition, I’m adding a retro night to The Stevetendo Show lineup and modifying the existing Shacker’s Choice night option. This month will serve as a kind of market research to see how these changes resonate with the audience. Of course, if no Shacker’s Choice game is selected, we will continue with the regularly scheduled programming.
Keep sending in your game suggestions for The Stevetendo Show! If it’s available on the Nintendo Switch 2 or the Nintendo Switch Online service, it might star in an upcoming episode.
As I’ve mentioned before, you never know when Nintendo will add games to the Nintendo Switch Online service. They recently shadow-dropped Fire Emblem for the GameCube section, so surprises are always possible. We could be closer to Donkey Kong 64, various Pokémon games, and Rad Racer becoming available—without even realizing it!
Stay tuned and keep playing!
