National University arrived at University of Santo Tomas’ home floor with an advantage that two previous Tigers opponents didn’t have: familiarity with Collins Akowe.
Standing 6-foot-8, the Nigerian big man is a product of the NU high school program. Over the course of two games, Akowe has bulldozed his way to an impressive average of 24.5 points and 18 rebounds per game.
His dominant presence continues to power the Growling Tigers as they aim for victory.
