As the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) enters its second season featuring a four-point line, commissioner Willie Marcial has confirmed that the arc is here to stay—at least for the foreseeable future.
“I think it will stay forever,” Marcial said. He then clarified, “As long as I’m commissioner, the four-point line will be used.”
The 2024-25 season served as the inaugural campaign for this new addition, signaling a significant evolution in the league’s gameplay. With the continued presence of the four-point line, fans and players alike can expect an exciting and dynamic style of basketball moving forward.
