MANILA, Philippines – LA Tenorio secured his first win as Magnolia coach by leading the Hotshots to an 80-73 victory over Barangay Ginebra. The game marked a low-scoring start to the PBA’s 50th season and was witnessed by a large crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.
Zavier Lucero played a key role in Magnolia’s success, delivering an impressive performance with 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals. His strong showing helped Tenorio begin his coaching tenure on a promising note.
