The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched a groundbreaking digital platform called **ECI Net**, described as the “Mother of all apps.” This innovative app is set to be deployed during the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections, aiming to enhance transparency and efficiency in India’s electoral process by integrating over 40 election-related applications into a single, unified interface.

ECI Net serves as a comprehensive digital ecosystem catering to all election stakeholders — from Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs). The platform consolidates existing digital tools used for election monitoring, voter management, communication, and reporting.
By simplifying workflows and strengthening coordination between officers and voters, ECI Net offers real-time access to critical election information, making the entire process smoother and more transparent.

– **Real-Time Monitoring:** The app enables real-time tracking of voter registration, polling arrangements, and vote counting status, keeping all stakeholders informed at every step.
– **Integration with Voter Helpline:** ECI Net integrates seamlessly with the 1950 Voter Helpline, allowing users to connect directly with their respective BLOs.
– **Secure Operations:** All digital activities on the platform are protected with advanced encryption and access control systems to ensure data security and privacy.
### Enhancing Connectivity Between Citizens and Election Officials
ECI Net connects approximately 90,712 BLOs, 243 Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), and 38 District Election Officers (DEOs) under one digital umbrella. Citizens can easily reach out to their local election officials by dialing the Voter Helpline number **1950** or by scheduling calls with their BLOs directly through the app for quick query resolution.
### Pilot Launch in Bihar: A Tech-Driven Election Transformation
Bihar will pioneer the rollout of this ambitious project, serving as a pilot state for evaluating the app’s performance during the forthcoming Assembly Elections. Based on the outcomes, ECI plans to extend the ECI Net platform across all states in India to standardize and modernize electoral operations nationwide.
