NEW YORK, United States – OpenAI signed a multi-year partnership on Monday with chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as the ChatGPT maker continues its investment spree to secure massive amounts of computing power for rolling out generative artificial intelligence.
The companies announced plans to develop AI data centers, which AMD said would bring in tens of billions in investment.
