**Ben-Gvir Ascends Temple Mount on Sukkot to Pray for Victory; Hamas Condemns Visit**
On Sukkot, MK Ben-Gvir ascended the Temple Mount to pray for victory. He expressed his hope, saying, “I only pray that our prime minister will allow a full victory also in Gaza, to destroy Hamas, with God’s help, to return the hostages, and we will achieve an absolute victory.”
His visit to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City took place on Jerusalem Day, May 26, 2025.
Hamas has condemned the visit, intensifying tensions surrounding the sensitive site.
