MANILA, Philippines — The University of Santo Tomas (UST) kicked off UAAP Season 88 with a grand celebration held across its España campus on Friday. The event welcomed a remarkable 36,629 attendees in an Olympic-style opening ceremony.
The Thomasian community hosted the kickoff at the iconic Main Building and Open Field, marking their first time hosting since Season 79 in 2016. This year’s theme is “Strength,” highlighting the spirit and resilience of the participants and supporters alike.
