The Diwali biggie *Thamma* is all set to release tomorrow, and the excitement is building as the release date approaches. Bollywood Hungama informed readers on Sunday, October 20, that the teaser of *Ikkis* and the announcement promo of *Shakti Shalini* will be shown alongside this much-anticipated horror comedy.
In addition to these promos, Bollywood Hungama has learned about another exciting asset attached to *Thamma* — the promo for *Cocktail 2*.
**BREAKING: 51-second-long *Cocktail 2* song promo attached with *Thamma***
A trade source revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “A song promo of *Cocktail 2*, titled ‘Jab Talak’, was passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on October 16. Its runtime is 111 seconds, that is, 1 minute and 51 seconds, and it has been certified with a U/A 16+ rating.”
The source further added, “Theatres have been informed about the promos to be screened with *Thamma*, one of which is that of *Cocktail 2*; the other two are *Ikkis* and *Shakti Shalini*. Although *Cocktail 2*’s release is still many months away, it promises to be a big, vibrant film — as evident from the on-set pictures shot in Sicily, Italy. With audiences expected to flock to cinemas for *Thamma*, it’s a great opportunity to unveil the first look of *Cocktail 2*.”
Similar to *Thamma*, *Cocktail 2* is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. While the first installment starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone and introduced Diana Penty, the second part features Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna. Both films have been directed by Homi Adajania.
Interestingly, Rashmika Mandanna also stars in *Thamma*. The other lead actors include Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal.
*Thamma* is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, who previously directed *Munjya* (2024), another significant film in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. *Shakti Shalini* also belongs to the same universe, making it fitting for its promo to be screened with *Thamma*.
