2XKO Patch 1.0.1.2 notes do away with flying Warwick bugs

**2XKO Patch 1.0.1.2: Major Fixes and Improvements Arrive**

With 2XKO having been in early access for a couple of weeks, Riot Games has finally gathered enough data to release one of the game’s first major patches. Patch 1.0.1.2 launched this week, delivering important fixes and improvements aimed at enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

Some issues were glaringly obvious—such as Warwick being able to fly off into orbit when tagged out from an aerial combo—while others were more subtle. Regardless, every fix works toward building a better 2XKO.

### Key Highlights of 2XKO Patch 1.0.1.2

Riot Games rolled out Patch 1.0.1.2 alongside detailed patch notes, with the spotlight on a critical fix for Warwick. Previously, when Warwick was tagged out after performing his mid-air S2 special (Spinning Slicer), he would bug out and fly off into the sky. That glitch has now been resolved, or as Riot jokingly puts it, “Goodbye, updog.”

Other core updates include system stabilization to reduce crashes and disconnects, improved collision detection between Champions—especially in corner situations—and a handful of gameplay and UI tweaks.

### Live Updates Already in Effect

These hotfixes have been live for a short time, and you might have seen discussions about them on social media. Since they were released after our last patch notes article, here’s a quick recap:

– Some higher-tier Champion Mastery missions have been made easier to complete.
– The rotating store now refreshes weekly instead of every two weeks.

### Upcoming Bug Fixes (Effective October 21)

The following changes are part of Patch 1.0.1.2 and will go live on October 21:

#### Collision Improvements
– Champions will no longer pass through each other unexpectedly, especially in corners when using Assists.
– This fix notably addresses corner-stealing moves like Ekko’s Phase Dive and Warwick’s Wrath of the Beast (with Bloodlust active) when multiple Champions are on screen.
– Champions won’t get “trapped” when pinned between two others at the center of the screen and can now be pushed normally.
– Both Player 1 (left) and Player 2 (right) sides now have equal corner priority properties during corner steals with Assists.

#### Champion-Specific Fixes

**Ekko**
– Fixed a bug where Arcane Ekko occasionally left behind a smoke effect after Attempt #37 (Ultimate).

**Warwick**
– Warwick no longer flies away after Handshake Tagging out of Spinning Slicer (mid-air S2) in Freestyle Fuse. Goodbye, updog!
– Warwick’s Ankle Swipe (C) > Primal Leap (Down S1) combos no longer drop on Yasuo.

**Yasuo**
– Yasuo’s Turbulent Wind (mid-air or standing S2) now correctly applies damage scaling, reducing his damage output in common combos and routes.
– Damage scaling applies on the second and third hits, totaling a 20% reduction.

#### Miscellaneous Fixes
– Added a widget to the main menu showing current server status and upcoming downtime.
– Fixed a crash bug occurring when entering the Champion Select screen.
– Fixed frequent disconnections during matches.
– Fixed a bug where players would get stuck on the rank promotion screen at the end of rank-up matches; pressing the confirmation button now correctly skips the animation.
– Fixed memory leaks that occurred when playing consecutive matches.
– Fixed incorrect display of Ranked points on the Grandmaster leaderboard.
