**Simpler, Smarter, More Connected: This Week’s Big Push**
I wanted to headline this with a nod to Daft Punk: *harder, better, faster, stronger.* But that’s not quite the right vibe. This week’s theme is better put as: **simpler, smarter, more connected.**
If you run security, the goal is less policy anxiety and a clearer sense of “who can talk to what.” If you’re in IT, you want fewer one-off firewall adventure tickets. If you’re an engineer or SRE, you seek more time building inside the network and less time routing around it. And if you’re a platform person managing “machines that aren’t really machines,” they should finally feel first-class.

### What’s Happening This Week (Oct. 27–30)
All this week, we’re keeping up the momentum — shipping, presenting, and sharing. Expect webinars, videos, blog posts, and talks covering many of these improvements. On Friday, we’ll wrap it all up with a comprehensive recap and a look ahead to what’s next.

### Why This Is One of Our Biggest Weeks Yet
This isn’t a single giant “Ta-da!” moment. Instead, it’s a bunch of sharp, well-fitting pieces landing together so you hit fewer “Why is this so hard?” moments. Fewer detours. More done.
If you watch carefully, you’ll notice a pattern: the network should act like the relationships you actually care about — people, services, permissions — not feel like a maze of IPs and ports.
Configuration should be boring, predictable, and hard to mess up.
It’s a lot, on purpose. We’ve been laying the foundations all year; this week is where those pieces finally click, making the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

### A Quick Thank-You
This week’s progress only lands because our engineering and product teams have been obsessing over details for months: building small pieces that fit together cleanly, dogfooding in challenging environments, and fixing the bugs they found while fixing the bugs.
It’s careful work, and I’m proud of it.

### Follow Along & Join In
We’ll post new updates all week and recap everything on Friday with links, demos, and community highlights.
Keep an eye on our [YouTube channel], as well as our social channels ([Bluesky], [Mastodon], [LinkedIn]) for clips, live Q&A, and mini demos.
Prefer feeds? Join our webinar on Thursday, October 30, for a deeper walkthrough of how the pieces fit together.
Hop into Discord on Wednesday for a “fireside chat” — I’ll be cohosting. Expect hot takes, but no actual fire. (That’s a safety feature.)
See you online. Let’s make the network the easy part.
