**Ripple Launches Digital Asset Spot Prime Brokerage in the US**

Ripple has expanded its presence in the U.S. market with the rollout of a digital asset spot prime brokerage, offering over-the-counter (OTC) spot transactions to institutional clients based in the United States.
On November 3, 2025, Ripple officially launched its digital assets spot prime brokerage service, marking a significant milestone for the company. This new offering enables U.S. institutional clients to execute OTC spot transactions involving prominent digital assets such as XRP and Ripple’s stablecoin, Ripple USD (RLUSD).
The launch comes shortly after Ripple completed its acquisition of Hidden Road, a multi-asset prime brokerage platform. Following the acquisition, Ripple rebranded the platform as Ripple Prime, which now serves as the home for various spot digital asset products.
Ripple Prime leverages both Ripple’s blockchain technology licenses and Hidden Road’s brokerage solutions. Through this platform, clients can access a broad range of products across foreign exchange, cryptocurrencies, derivatives, swaps, and fixed income.
In addition to cross-margin OTC spot transactions, U.S. institutional clients will also be able to trade OTC swaps, CME futures, and options through Ripple Prime. According to Ripple, the addition of OTC spot execution capabilities complements its existing suite of OTC and cleared derivatives services for digital assets.
Ripple’s entrance into the prime brokerage space aims to provide a seamless solution for institutional investors seeking to trade leading crypto assets. This includes Ripple’s flagship digital asset XRP, which recently has faced downward price pressure, hovering around $2.41.
The launch of Ripple Prime underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its services and solidifying its foothold in the growing institutional digital asset market in the United States.
