Never let it be said that the class challenges in Battlefield 6 are easy. The Assault 2 challenge asks you to get kills or assists on concussed enemies, which is not nearly as simple as it sounds. Fortunately, there are some strategies you can use to make the process easier, and we’ll discuss the best of them here.
### How to Get Kills or Assists on Concussed Enemies in Battlefield 6
To get kill credit on concussed enemies in Battlefield 6, you need to see either the **Headbanger** or **Blindside** kill tags if you’re the one who got the kill based on a stun or flash kill, respectively. Alternatively, you may notice a **Stun Assist** or **Flash Assist** appear under the score element on your HUD as you earn points. As long as either of these notifications appear, you should receive credit toward the challenge.
### The Challenge: Limited Stun Grenades
There’s one big problem with the Assault 2 challenge: you only get **one Stun Grenade per life**, and only the Assault class can use it. This means you don’t have a reliable way to resupply stun grenades during a match. Because of this limitation, you’ll need to prioritize game modes and playstyles that allow you to stun as many enemies as possible in a short time.
### Best Strategy: Play Breakthrough and Stay on the Frontlines
By far, the best way to get concussed kill assists is to play **Breakthrough** and stay on the frontlines as much as possible. Stick close to your Support teammates, especially early in the match, as there will likely be many of them supplying ammo and support.
Focus on major chokepoints on the map. Once you spot a group of enemies gathered there, throw your stun grenade toward them. After stunning the enemy team, peek out and try to secure a kill. If you don’t get the kill yourself, your teammates may be able to finish off the concussed enemies, giving you assists toward the challenge.
### Resupplying Stun Grenades
In a pinch, you can pick up a downed Support kit and drop a Supply Bag for yourself, but note that it takes around 20 seconds for the grenade to come off cooldown. If your goal is strictly to complete the challenge quickly, it’s often faster to die or redeploy to reset your grenade count.
### How Many Kills or Assists Are Needed?
You need **20 kills or assists** against concussed enemies to complete the challenge. It’s possible to finish this in a single long match, but in reality, you’ll probably need three or four matches if you stick to Breakthrough, as those matches usually last around 15 minutes or less.
### Alternative Modes for Farming
As with any kill-centric challenge, you can also try **Team Deathmatch** or **Squad Deathmatch** for constant action and frequent engagements. However, enemy player concentration will be lower compared to Breakthrough, which may slow down your progress.
### Keep at It!
Regardless of which mode you choose for farming, persistence is key. Keep playing, stunning enemies, and racking up those kills and assists. Even if it turns into a repetitive routine of spawning, throwing a stun grenade, and moving on with your other objectives, you will ultimately complete the Assault 2 challenge.
Good luck, and see you on the battlefield!
