We’re all here because we agree on two universal facts in life: cats are the most purrfect creatures to ever exist, and there is no such thing as too many cats. Just like cats can’t ever get enough catnip, we can’t get enough cat content on the internet.
Over the years, this love for feline friends has only grown stronger. Now, we have hundreds—if not thousands—of pages dedicated to the pawsitively ameowzing cats we share our hearts and homes with. None of this would have been pawssible without the people who made the furst cat memes of the internet—our infamous LOLcat-ers—but that’s a story for a different article altogether.
Today, we enjoy an endless stream of purrfessionally made adoption videos, funny cats being their adorably derpy selves on Instagram, and more feline posts online than we could hope to get through in one lifetime. But that won’t stop us from trying.
Just seeing a cute picture of a cat makes us smile. If that’s what we need to make it through the day, then by golly, we’ll scroll until we feel that serotonin and dopamine flowing.
