Battlefield 6 Challenge changes reduces requirements for Class Assignments & others

**Battlefield 6 Challenges Updated for Faster Completion**

The Battlefield Comms team has announced major improvements to Battlefield 6 Challenges and Assignments, aimed at making progression easier and less time-consuming for all players. These changes were revealed in a Community Update on November 5, 2025, and are already live thanks to a server-side update. Here’s what you need to know about the latest adjustments.

### What’s Changed?

Players will find that many Challenge requirements have been reduced. This means unlocking new rewards and progressing through Battlefield 6 will take significantly less grind and more focus on skillful play.

Recently, updates increased the XP earned in official matches and lowered the XP needed for the first 20 attachment ranks. Building on those improvements, this latest update introduces a major overhaul of Challenges and Assignments, informed by gameplay data and player feedback.

### Easier Progression & Clearer Goals

The new system now aligns challenge requirements with reasonable play session lengths. Assignments range from objectives you can complete through regular play, to tasks that reward mastery—especially those related to cosmetic items. The updated criteria clarify both difficulty and purpose, making your progression journey more transparent.

### Update Highlights

Over 90 adjustments have been made. Here are a few key examples:

#### Class Challenges
– **Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon challenges** now complete much faster.
– **Assault 2:** Squadmates deploying on your Spawn Beacon reduced from 50 deploys to 5.
– **Support 2:** Reviving teammates as Support reduced from 200 revives to 60.

#### Weapon Assignments
– All weapon-type assignments (ARs, SMGs, LMGs, Shotguns, DMRs, Snipers, Carbines) have been significantly simplified.
– **Rapid Fire 1/Assault Rifle:** Inflict damage requirement reduced from 10,000 to 3,000.

#### Mode & Unit Assignments
– Most mode-specific assignments (Conquest, Rush, Breakthrough, Domination, and others) now require only two wins per tier for completion.
– **Conquest 2:** Win requirement reduced from 5 to 2.
– **Conquest 3:** Objective kills in a round reduced from 30 to 10.

#### Gameplay & Mastery
– General “Expert” and “Master” assignments (multi-kills, headshots, kill streaks, revives) have been tuned to better match average gameplay rather than rare achievements.
– **Explosives Expert 2:** Multi Kills (2+ Kills) reduced from 20 to 5.
– **Adaptable 2:** Repair damaged vehicles in a life reduced from 3,000 damage to 500.

### Instant Progress Update

Any progress you’ve already made will count toward the new requirements; challenges and assignments you now meet will unlock automatically when you join your next match.

### Ongoing Improvements

This is just the first phase of a broader plan. Additional server-side and client-side updates will continue to refine Challenges and Assignments over time. The team is committed to keeping the community informed and involved.
