Kucherov scores twice in third period as Lightning beat Golden Knights 6-3

Nikita Kucherov delivered a stellar performance for the Tampa Bay Lightning, scoring two third-period goals and assisting on a late empty-netter as the team secured a 6-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.

Brandon Hagel also contributed significantly, recording two goals and an assist. Additional goals were scored by Gage Goncalves and Dominic James. Meanwhile, goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy made an impressive 29 saves to help preserve the win.

On the assist front, both Dominic James and Oliver Bjorkstrand chipped in with two assists each, showcasing the team’s depth in playmaking.

For the Vegas Golden Knights, Ivan Barbashev led the charge with two goals and an assist. Mitch Marner added to the offense with one goal and two assists, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Lightning’s dominant third period.
