MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Jackson Rasmussen scored 19 points as Idaho dominated NCAA Division III opponent Whitman with a 94-49 victory on Friday.
Rasmussen was highly efficient, shooting 8 of 10 from the field and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line to help the Vandals improve to 2-0 on the season.
Kolton Mitchell contributed 17 points, going 4 of 7 from the field and a perfect 8 of 8 from the free-throw line, while also adding five rebounds and six assists.
Isaiah Brickner added 13 points for Idaho, shooting 5 of 8 from the field, including 3 of 5 from beyond the arc.
For Whitman, Jacob Fotu led the team with 16 points and two steals. Djordje Lazarevic contributed 12 points and two steals, while Bernard Dzesi chipped in 10 points and two steals.
