SC rejects Jacqueline’s plea to drop ₹200cr money laundering case

The Supreme Court of India has declined to intervene in a recent Delhi High Court order concerning actor Jacqueline Fernandez.

The Delhi High Court had dismissed Fernandez’s plea to quash the Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) filed in connection with a ₹200 crore money laundering case.

This high-profile case involves the alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is at the center of the investigation.

With the Supreme Court’s refusal to interfere, the legal proceedings related to the ECIR will continue as per the directives of the Delhi High Court.
