South Africa spinner Keshav Maharaj picked up the last two Indian wickets to inflict a 408-run defeat in the second Test at the Baraspara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday, November 26. The left-arm spinner picked up two wickets in five deliveries, dismissing Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj to seal a 2-0 series victory. The dismissals occurred in the 64th over of the fourth innings. Batting at 54, Jadeja stepped out for a big shot, but the lack of bounce meant that the ball sneaked under his bat. Proteas keeper Kyle Verreynne completed an easy stumping. Meanwhile, Siraj also went for the big shot, as Marco Jansen ran back from mid-on, sticking out his left hand to complete the catch. The tourists ran in to mob the left-arm seamer to celebrate a stunning series victory.
