Wendpa Sawadogo also made a significant impact for Newark Data Science, contributing nine points, seven rebounds, and five assists. With this win, Newark Data Science improved their record to 3-4.
The game was competitive throughout, with Newark Data Science holding a slight lead of 27-24 at halftime. They then pulled away in the second half, scoring 32 points to secure the win.
Barringer, on the other hand, falls to 1-5 with the loss. The Newark Public Schools Invitational continues to showcase strong local talent as teams vie for the championship.
