Video shows masked robbers crash car through jewelry store entrance, steal owner’s gun in brazen heist

**Daytime Smash-and-Grab Jewelry Store Heist Caught on Surveillance in Anaheim Hills**

Surveillance video captured a bold daytime smash-and-grab at a jewelry store in Anaheim Hills, California, revealing masked suspects ransacking display cases after smashing through the front entrance with a vehicle. The suspects then fled in two getaway cars that later crashed during separate police pursuits.

According to FOX 11 Los Angeles, the suspects used a vehicle to forcefully break into the store. Surveillance footage shows two men seated inside the jewelry store as a vehicle lines up outside the glass front door. Suddenly, the vehicle accelerates forward, crashing through the door, shattering the glass and knocking out the frame.

The next clip shows three suspects dressed in black and wearing masks, hurriedly rummaging through glass cases and grabbing merchandise. A fourth suspect stands near the door, acting as a lookout. Throughout the robbery, one man seated near the front of the store remains frozen with his phone in hand, seemingly stunned by the unfolding events.

All four suspects then flee through the damaged entrance, carrying stolen merchandise, and appear to enter a white vehicle before driving away. The man holding the phone runs to the doorway to record the getaway, while the other man inside the store reappears on camera, looking around at the wreckage.

While the video shows only four suspects, FOX 11 reported that police believe eight individuals were involved. Store owner Ramcy Tabelo told the station, “Eight to ten guys run in with masks, trash cans, and crowbars, hammers, and smash every showcase. My gun was on the table, they grabbed my gun and at that point I thought I was going to get shot.”

The Fullerton Police Department confirmed that both getaway vehicles crashed during pursuits — the first crash involving multiple vehicles and the second occurring about five minutes later. Investigators recovered trays of stolen jewelry from the crashed vehicles.

This incident highlights growing concerns about holiday crime, with experts warning shoppers to be cautious of “jugging” thieves targeting people carrying cash and gifts.
