MANILA, Philippines — Grocery chain Makro is making a comeback in the Philippines with the support of the Ayala conglomerate, which has recently renewed its interest in the retail business.
On September 24, ACX Holdings Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ayala Corp., signed a partnership deal with the Thai company Makro ROH Company Limited (MROH) for the operation of Makro in the country.
