MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Agriculture (DA) has accredited 14 establishments from Paraguay to supply meat products to the Philippines.
This move aims to diversify meat access in the country, especially as some local producers continue to face challenges due to African swine fever and avian influenza.
According to Department Order No. 13, these foreign meat establishments (FMEs) will help address the supply constraints and support the local market’s demand for meat products.
