SF firefighters rally for retiree denied cancer treatment by Blue Shield as more come forward
On the steps of San Francisco City Hall, firefighters joined forces to fight for one of their own: retired firefighter Ken Jones, who was denied treatment by Blue Shield for his stage 4 lung cancer. We’re now learning that Jones isn’t the only SFFD firefighter who has been denied treatment by the provider.
